U of M Lands Patent for Using Synthetic DNA to Target Heart Failure

This week, a news article came out by Twin Cities Business which highlights the work done by Profs. Michael Bowser, Gianluigi Veglia, and Joseph Metzger. They have secured a patent for an interesting new scientific method which makes use of DNA "adaptamers" and their ability to target specific mechanisms related to heart failure.
