I joined Veglia lab in a cold day of January 2015 as a visiting Ph.D. student from a small University in Italy where my research was focused on the  biophysical characterization of the structure and membrane interaction of natural antimicrobial peptides. In Minnesota, I starting working on the biophysical characterization of the intrinsically disordered protein kinase inhibitor (PKI) involved in the regulation and localization of cAMP-dependent protein kinase A (PKA). My interests now revolve around using solution NMR, calorimetry and biochemical methods to elucidate protein-protein interactions, dynamics and regulation of protein kinases.
